{Laura & Ross} - Engaged

R oss and Laura met over 6 years ago in April through mutual friends. Their love story began at Laura’s Birthday party, they finally talked to each other and watched a few films as a group. Laura told me their first proper date was a picnic at Silverdale Glen. It was a really hot sunny day, and afterwards they went to The Shore Hotel in Laxey for a drink by the river to soak up a few rays. Laura was working the Blues Festival that day at the Shore so Ross dropped her off back home and met again after her shift had finished and that is when they officially became a couple.

Last August, Laura said Ross took her for a meal at the Mona Lisa restaurant in Laxey, then they went for a romantic walk along the beach front. Ross got down on one knee at the end of the promenade and proposed. She found out later that Ross had spoken to her dad the week before to ask permission.

Now the lovely couple are busy preparing for their wedding in September. All the best to your wedding planning!
